Cut flowers are delicate and as such there are care requirements to help prolong their beauty.

Placement
Keep flowers in a naturally cool place out of direct sunlight. Ensure they are not near heating/cooling vents or ripening fruit.
Water
Refresh the water and clean the vase daily. Ensure there are no leaves below the waterline. This is vital to minimize the impact of naturally occurring bacteria.
Trimming
Cut flowers on a sharp angle every 1-2 days, approximately 1-2cm from the bottom of the stem. Always use a clean pair of scissors or secateurs.
Drooping Flowers
If flower heads begin to droop, cut the stem on an angle and sear the tip in boiling water for 10-20 seconds, keeping the head of the flower and petals away from the steam.
